Our History
Asheville RV Park Resort is owned by the Cogdill family, with Miss G assuming the role of primary owner and Park Manager since August 2008. This is a second career for Miss G, who is also an experienced, registered cardiac nurse.
The Cogdill family has traveled extensively in the United States and throughout the world, making Asheville their home since 1996. Miss G states that “I do agree with many people who come to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains: Western North Carolina is one of the most beautiful destinations in America.”
Our Community
Asheville RV Park Resort is a gated community with a 24 hour on-call person available to answer any of your questions. Miss G and her staff strive to make your visit an enjoyable and relaxing experience and look forward to return visits from your family.
In-park staff hours and the Recreation Hall hours are 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. unless activities are planned. We also provide activities on Holiday Weekends. Please see the listing posted outside of the Recreation Hall for times and details of upcoming events.
The bathhouse, laundry facility and pool are maintained daily to insure that all are spotlessly clean. The pool is heated to 74 degrees and it is open from Memorial Day to the Labor Day Holiday.
Whether it is a hot game of pool, table tennis, watching the “big game” on our large screen TV or snuggling up in front of the fireplace with a good book, gathering in our large recreation room on rainy days or cool winter days is sure to pick up your spirits.
Our lake is stocked, with catch-and-release fishing allowed for registered guests. Not into fishing? No problem! We also offers paddle boats and canoes free of charge and we supply life vests. Please see the office to rent one of the boats and obtain the life vests.
Need to stretch your legs? Enjoy our serenity trail as it follows our little creek at the edge of the park. Benches are provided so you can sit and enjoy our birds and White Squirrels.
We strive to keep our park beautiful and clean. We also ask that you please respect our nature and wildlife.
